I am freezing the [CW] clan and probably no longer doing updates on this site.  Any changes to the Moo Moo Land server will be posted in the forums.  No one actually checks this site for news anyways because it's all posted in the forums.

This clan will no longer be accepting new members, admins for the server, etc.  Please don't ask because there is no point to it.  Due to recent events in my life[Oblivion], I just don't have the time or patience to keep up with any of this anymore.

The site will continue to stay up for reference and downloads for the server.  I only now maintain the MML server and admin in Zombie's server.  I don't really ever play anymore and I'm sorry for that.  I will still do my best to give you all a fun and entertaining server to play in.

4.25.06 -Server Updates-
The MML server now runs UT, DOOM, INF and OB4 mods during the week on different days.  The extra mods have been added to the downloads page or server page.  Most weapons and items are given at startup now, no need waiting for an admin for weapons and items.  Hope you enjoy the additions.

12.26.05 -MML X-mas 2.1-
MML X-mas 2.1 has been released, only the .u file has been changed since the last version.  There has been 2 new weapons added and this version will "semi" work with UT now.  The mutators will not fully work with UT.

12.16.05 -JCoopZ Released-

JCoopZ is an Unreal 1 coop game mod to sequel JCoop4 and the JCoop5 releases from Joss Liu and Maniac. This mod consists of nearly 3 years of research, bug fixes, server security enhancements, and new features for unreal initially developed for the private DZCoop game mod. It also builds on some of the goals Joss had set out for JCoop5 but were never finished. It provides a new level of server stability, and security unseen in JCoop4/5 or any coop gametype mod to date. Much of the base sourcecode to JCoop was re-written so JCoopZ is not only a sequel, but it could almost be considered a totally new coop game mod except for containing original JCoop commands and feature options.

Features:

  • MANY fixed security holes both in JCoop AND what was normally flawed in Unreal. As many as what is currently known by me, and from my own debugging/exploit experiments.

  • MANY fixed crash bugs (both client and server) and a 99% fix on unreal AI server hangs.

  • Quite a number of new admin commands, as well as a few normal player commands. Use 'help' in-game to view a list and their short descriptions.

  • A new enhanced client replacement console with colored messaging. Plus it the fixes garbage ghost bug and saves chat text from each level. Console can also work as a default console.

  • A number of new gameplay and playercontrol configuration options, some should be self explanatory. Options to reduce player cheating or malicious actions.

  • A client checker package scan capability to detect unknown client packages or possible cheats.

  • New admin password handling. Admins can reduce the risk of leaked passwords or hijacked servers now.

  • Improved JCoop's CustomMapTimer, and GiveItem features to provide new capability.

  • Includes a strong player ban/logger, and is better than only using Nephthys by iteself with the powerful logging and banning capability of it.

  • Built in relogin protection (legacy with Nephthys in place).

  • Internal mutator support (hook mutators) so that mutators no longer need to be added to startup commandline options.

  • Travel Scores ability. Server can keep total scores of unique players as long as the server doesn't shutdown or crash.

  • Scoreboard has subtle enhancements to the score fields and adds local time keeping.

  • Many more changes, some subtle and others bigger.

Everyone who downloads JCoopZ PLEASE READ the included txt file to learn how to run the mod and how everything works. If you encounter any operation issues or what you think is a bug always check the readme txt file first to make sure it isn't written about already. If not, you can report it to my provided e-mail address or in this thread if you wish.

I just want to thank Zombie for his over 9 months of work on this gametype.  I recommend anyone using older gametypes such as JCoop4 to upgrade their servers to this one.

MML X-mas II Mod has been released. It's a Christmas/Holiday themed mod that is a gift from the crew at the Moo Moo Land Server.  Quite a few have helped out in the making of this mod so check out the ReadMe file for credits. 10.26.05 -Celtic Warriors Map Contest-
The Celtic Warriors are doing a map contest for Unreal 1.  The entries/winners will also be added to the upcoming MML X-mas II project in the works.  A developer pack of the mod will be released on November 1st.  The pack will contain a beta version of mmlxmas2.u, new textures [developer textures and S3TC textures], sounds, and music for use in X-mas maps being developed for the contest.

Well they're back up!  First the forums went down then the main site because of the hurricane that hit Florida, the backup generators at the data center failed to operate after the facility lost power.  The same generators that were tested only a few days prior to the event.

Server crashing when you enter it, yeah I know.  The server is dead in the water until I get some login information from Overkill.  I sent the email this morning.  I'll probably lose power tomorrow when he actually sends me the information, so the server could be borked up for awhile.  Sorry guys.

6.21.05 -Server Normal-
Server has been set back to normal.  OB4 mod back on and all that good stuff, well good to some.  Thanks to everyone that came in and played during this MPW, was fun.  I'll try and have a few more admins next weekend to help out more.

6.20.05 -Server Page-
I've reworked the server page on the site and updated it.  I also put links to the map pack downloads that the server has just in case the server is switched to them during Map Pack Weekend.  Server abuse and issue forms have also been added to that page, so check it out.

Everyone seemed to really like those Hexephet maps, only 2 maps but they were very fun.  Thanks to all that joined in on the fun.  Post your feedback and suggestions on the server boards please!

3.31.05 -Changes-
If you haven't noticed already, the Moo Moo Land server has had a few updates done to it.  The old MML mod has been placed on the server (the cow signs and giant cows :P) and volatile ammo (explosive ammo).  A few other fixes and changes have also been added, but they are all minor things.  Enjoy :D.

3.18.05 -Admins-
Moo Moo Land has added TheMasterNL onto its group of admins, welcome Master :P.  So if you see him playing, go join him.  I'm sure he'll be happy to give you some goodies.  I also removed some unused skins off the server to cut down on some of the downloads.

3.09.05 -Server-
Yay, got the bill for the server today :D.  Thanks Overkill, been a great 3 months.  Anyways, that's all paid for and done.  The server has also had a bit of an update, some fixes for OB4 were put in to improve some things and no more Nalic map getting stuck now either [whoops].  I also noticed that I left the chat box on the Tribute page, so that has been removed now.  Dunno who those people were trying to chat to.  Post added that people put up on the respect thread onto that page as well.

2.11.05 -Update, server-
Yeah it's been awhile since the last post.  I'm still here and the MML server is still up and running.  Today I put the OB4 mod and mutator on the server, so it should add some interesting stuff for ya.  Where have I been?  Well..I've been in UT2K4 mainly now, I still play in Unreal 1 though.  You can mainly catch me in Zombie's server or mine and that's about it :P.  If you have any suggestions for the server or problems please post.
12.28.04 -Site, Forums, MML-
I updated the site a bit today.  The tag board was removed because it contained unwanted pop up ads and people try to discuss topics in it, we have a forum for that.  Oh, and the forums are back up and all the data restored, thanks BrakeDanceJ.  I also redid the navigation to be better viewed in FireFox, plus it just looks cleaner.

Moo Moo Land server is up?  Yes, I converted the [CW] server over to the beloved MML :P.  I'm also hosting MML X-Mas II on there.  It's still a bit of a beta, but fun.  Drop by sometime and throw some yellow snow balls :D.

12.21.04 -Unreal Destination Attack-
As you can see, my forums, Hyper's and other UnrealDestination.com hosted sites are down.  I had a talk with BrakeDanceJ and this is what he had to say on the subject:

The server was attacked at 10 PM yesterday by means of a POST PHP phpbb search error.  It occurred because of a loop escape flaw in the code. Php-bb has issued a fix and it is available on their website.  Another attack was made 15 min later, exploiting a server-write 777 chmod.  This caused an overwrite of every html / php file accessed via a "GET" method by any client.

All the databases are backed up and were secured.  They can be emailed to anyone who needs it immediately.  We're hoping the system will be up by Christmas.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Also, temporary hosting is being looked into.  More information will be posted as I receive it.

Update:
Seems this attack is more widespread then we thought.  They said almost 40,000 sites may have been infected.  Leet Studios also got hit with this.

11.23.04 -Unreal News Be Gone-
First it starts out not posting on other sites with the latest Unreal I news, now it's not posting Unreal I news on my own site.  Ah yes, I've got other things to keep up with then searching a bunch of forums and sites to post news on a clan site that no one thinks to go on for Unreal I news.  Why is that?  Well, it's a clan site and most people don't expect any news outside of the clan to be on the site, so I'll give them what they expect.  Sorry two people who actually come here for news, but those two probably check all the other sites and forums anyways.

Well at least I can spend more time on MML-Xmas II :D.  Yep I am working on it for you non believers :P.

11.20.04 -Enhanced Unreal Server Browser, GoldGuardian-
Hyper has updated his Enhanced Unreal Server Browser and  GoldGaurdian.  The browser allows clients to organize all the different Unreal GameTypes to separate tabs, which makes server browsing faster and easier.  GoldGuardian filters out Unreal 226f server versions of Unreal for Unreal Gold clients because they are incompatible with one another, causing crashes.  Hyper has also found a script to allow the browser to look like UT's layout, head over to his site and find out more about it and more information on GoldGuardian.

My two projects Enhanced Unreal server browser and GoldGuardian have been updated. No big changes, only some fine-tuning to handle the new Unreal servers.

11.14.04 -News, MonsterSpawn, OpenGL Beta-
I will no longer be doing news post on UD, NU, or elsewhere.  It's just to much of a bother to me and you can just come here if you want the news.  Speaking of news..

Asgard has updated his MonsterSpawn mutator to v.1.01.  MonsterSpawn is a Mutator designed to add just about any type of Monster to just about any type of Unreal 1 or Unreal Tournament type game.  Here are the changes:
  • Fixed so monsterspawn no longer destroys any existing monsters that were placed in by the mapper or perhaps another mod.. Only destroys remaining Monsters spawned by itself just before a new wave appears.. Mainly fixed for games such as coop.

  • Various bug fixes or safeties added.
  • To avoid monsters fighting each other a 5 second delay was put in between destroying a wave and the next wave spawning.. (To help stop a new wave monster being shot by a stray rocket or such from an already existing monster.)
  • New monsters are no longer spawned in front of doors, blocking the exit. However with extremely big doors such as a drawbridge they might still get in the way. Or they might decide to walk there.. O well such is the life of a monster, wait till respawn time.
  • Unreal monsters that have unreal1 weapons might be able to be used in UT. If they're modded weapons chances are they cant be used. (not tested in all game types) Skaarjtrooper and family should be fine. However if you're having probs dont add them. Unreal1 weapons cause UT grief.
  • Added Queen support, so monsterspawns ver of the queen can teleport.

11.01.04 -DZMapMv2.01-
Seems a small bug was missed during some testing of the new DZMapM that was released the other day.  Zombie has fixed the bug and updated it to v.2.01, please download the latest version:
  • Fixed a minor bug with TriggeredDeath actors in a couple maps while 'MonsterKillRequirement' mode was enabled.

10.31.04 -Happy Halloween, Halloween Treat-

Happy Halloween from yours truly :D.  As you all know, Halloween is a time to get candy and other treats.  Well, Zombie decided to give us all an Unreal treat, he released the latest version of DZMapMv.2.0.  Yep, that same mutator that fixed end blockings and lift blocks, but it did so much more than that.  This version has kept those features and added a bunch more.  Know that RTNP Mut Fix that was run on my server and made the original maps playable?  Well, it's added into this mutator :P, here are some more of the specs:

  • The mutator now ONLY works as a true mutator. No more Global serveractor run mode. This was neccessary to optimize some of the routines.
  • Added RTNP map fixes (aka. Previously RTNPMute - RTNP Fix Mute). This makes normal RTNP maps playable online without needing re-released fixed maps (ONLY for version 226Gold).
  • Itemreplacer and DropWhenKilled can be set to only replace/change at level start rather then continuously. (bLevelStartOnly option)
  • ItemReplacer now has the options 'ActionOnEvery' and 'ActionMaxNumber'. If you've ever used WMutate from }TCP{Wolf then you should already know how that works, otherwise read the packaged readme.
  • Added Special optional 'Monster Kill Requirement' mode. Players must kill more then 80% of the total monsters in the level before the end is enabled. Also includes a 'MKRBackupEndMinutes' timer in case the 80% cannot be met within reasonable time.

  • Added a MonsterSpawner as a brand new feature. Users can control how many monsters spawn at level startup, how fast they respawn, random spawns from list, and more. (ReadMe for details)
  • Better error logging and replacing internal unreal actors with other internal actors. This simplifies replacing when the ReplaceWithClass actor comes from the normal 'Unreali' or 'UnrealShare' packages.
  • LevelRecycle option removed. New custom MapSequence configuration now replaces it.
  • Fixed an infamous well-known native Unreal bug caused from spawning carcasses that results in a server crash (250 call CheckReplacment 0000 Infinite recursion).
  • Configurable psInventory (Pawn Spawn Inventory) classes. Spawn pawns from a host pawn after death. Users assign the psInventory classes to monster pawns using the PawnDWKChanger.

10.20.04 -MonsterSpawn Mut-
Guess what Asgard, over at Ammo At Na Pali, has been busy doing?  Well, he has been working on a few projects, but has gotten around to releasing his MonsterSpawn Mutator.  A few people from around the community have been wanting something like this for awhile.  Thanks Asgard, here is his tid bits on the mutator:

MonsterSpawn is a Mutator designed to add just about any type of Monster to just about any type of Unreal 1 or Unreal Tournament type game.

Features include adding Modded Monsters or Standard Unreal Monsters. Monsters can be set to respawn after the amount of time you choose, starting a new wave of monster attacks. Up to 25 monsters at a time of your choice can be added to any map of a possible 60 random choices from 3 monster lists. Monsters always Spawn in random places. You make your own lists or comes with lists pre-configured.

Add monsters to CTF, DM type games, Co-op etc. Try holding onto that flag with a bunch of Skaarj chasing you down, or adding new or Extra monsters to co-op style game etc

10.11.04 -Skaarj Tower - Shadow and Fire updated-
Drew has updated his map series, fixing a d3d driver error upon opening the map Skaarj Castle V2 in Unreal Tournament, updated teleporters and more.  If you haven't checked this out yet, please do.  Drew is a great mapper and has put out some amazing, huge, Unreal world maps.  Seems as if he's tired of messing with all the Unreal version conflicts and is only going to do UT SP maps.  No doubt, you'll see his later work at UnrealSP.com.

Our match up with }TCP{ is today at 3PM EST, more time information is in the boards.  I will be able to attend the match prior to what was said before.  Let's see if anyone shows up...gonna have a talk with some people if they don't too.

BreakDanceJ over at UD has released a 226f to 225 map converter for Unreal 1.  No more command lines like in past converters just click the map and hit convert, poof.

Well }TCP{Cee said between 12-4PM on Sunday for our match, so I just said 3PM.  If you can't make that then post.  If you wait to the last minute then oh well.  I decided I'm not going around finding people for our match..if you want to do it then all your information is here or in the boards.  I spend all this time getting the info to you and most don't even come to the site unless I tell them to, but no more.

My server should be down or soon to go down due to the fact NU is moving it's new data center as posted yesterday.  Just give 'em time and it'll be back up and better than before.

8.22.04 -LAN, UUT-
Got our LAN today, I've only talked to Murdoc this morning and he said he was coming.  FromHell normally shows up but I haven't talked to him since like Friday.  LAN at 2pm which is in like 5min..
Also our UUT match with =XtC= is at 8pm EST today.
Results:
Well we didn't do as bad as I thought for the tourny.  We did loose though, everyone knew that was gonna happen.  A full blood DM clan against a CoOp clan, lol.  We all still had fun though.  Only had 1 actual [CW] member show up (Jess) and she was even late, heh.  Thanks to Blood and Aizul we could actually have a match up.  After the UUT, [CW] will be in no more clan matches most likely due to the fact it's members just don't care.  I go through all of this work of weeks of preparing, getting the news for you and even changing my server over to a TDM to only have 1 show up.  So I will not put up with that again. 

Also another disappointment was with my LAN today, again was only me and FromHell.  So I've killed that off for another 2 weeks till D.H.S comes back.  So don't bother asking about it.

}TCP{Wolf had to update his latest release of UTeamFix with v9f to fix some compatibility problems from the previous release, please update servers.  His comments from the NU boards:

On public demand, a special feature had to be changed in order to re-establish compatibility with some other mods. Therefore I was forced to make just another release right now, the version is 9F.

8.02.04 -Unreal 1 Maps-
Few might remember that Nali City once hosted Unreal 1 maps, but they dropped that awhile ago.  I found out to my surprise that Map Raider host Unreal 1 maps as well as the newer Unreal series of maps.  You might want to check it out.

7.28.04 -LAN-
The LAN went pretty good yesterday, still no Die_Ez show up again.  Also had no Ravie..he has been hiding from AIM, so I don't know where he is.  We played UT2K4 the whole time and some screen shots from that are up, so go check 'em out.

7.25.04 -Nali Skin Pack2-
Well, a lot of people liked the first batch of Nali skins I did.  So I sought out and did another, lol.  It's only a small addon, it only adds 4 new skins [purple, pink, black, and orange].  Anyways, hope ya enjoy it.  This pack has also been added to my server, so you can use them there.

7.18.04 -[CW] Server, LAN-
I've recently purchased an Unreal 1 CoOp server from New Unreal.  Many of you have probably been to it already.  But I didn't want to post about it till all the kinks were worked out of it.  It's a good stable server, most broadband users get under 100 pings.  Which is pretty good considering it's CoOp.  More information on the server can be found on the server page, new button on the navigation has been added at the end for it.  Page shows what things are run on the server as well as an abuse form.

We have 6 people coming to the LAN on Tuesday.  Most of which will be there for the full time.  Still nothing from the Bandit and Long on if they're coming.  I doubt Long will anyways, I still haven't heard anything else from the last time.  Should be fun.

7.16.04 -Kerberos-
Winged Unicorn and Zora have released a security modification for Unreal 1 called Kerberos.  I'd advice this dl if you seemed to be getting hit by a so called "test" player.

Kerberos is a server-side mod able to detect and automatically block DoS and DDoS attacks, with a couple of other neat features :) Due to the lack of support from Epic and UTPG, we decided to create this tool to protect the remaining U1 servers from the constant malicious attacks.

Features:

  • Mutator solution: it can be combined with any game type and any other server mods running simultaneously.

  • Pure server-side mod: the client does NOT need to download anything nor does even know that there's a security running.
  • Ban list may ban IP or IP range.
  • Ban blocks a client before PreLogin, so banned clients can't even download stuff from server and thus causing lag.
  • Bans may block the client's server query as well so the server becomes invisible to the banned client.
  • Automatic logging of IPs and names (IP ranges supported too).
  • Special handling for DoS attacks (fast query attack + fast connect attack), which result in automatic ban.
  • Special handling for DDoS attacks (fast query attack + fast connect attack), which result in a temporary block of all new connections.
  • Special handling for multiple fast logins, resulting in a DoS attacks and thus in automatic ban.
  • Remote admin control.
  • Fixed UDP server query mod to block DoS request on server's query port.
  • Logging of banned login requests and/or query requests.
  • Additional server rules to display at advanced game clients (GameSpy, QTracker).
  • Player rules may report bots, spectators and cameras additional to real players.
  • Auto-closing multiple connections to same player to avoid server lag with reconnecting fast client computers.
  • Server->client download maybe disabled completely or partly (restricted by max. package size) during game play.

Winged Unicorn has updated AKMCoop to version 2.1.

Nester now spawns a Pupae child which will attack scripted enemies in the Coop gametype.

Well, we had our [CW] LAN today.  Went pretty good for the 1 person that came.  Yes I said ONE and of course it would be AJ.  I thank all the ones that didn't come [over 8].  Me and AJ have worked on setting this up for weeks now and have spent over $120 on it as well.  I've never known how selfish my friends were till now.  Thanks again...  We're set for next Tuesday as well, same times.  All the info is in the LAN board, but if this shit happens again, then you all have killed it.  Don't IM me today asking how the LAN went or who showed up, I'll just point you to this site then ignore your ass.

Hyper has updated his Enhanced Sever Browser to version 1.11.

My Enhanced Unreal Server browser has been updated to version 1.11. This release supports one more gametype: AssualtProDM.

Hope everyone had a good 4th of July, if your in the US.  Hell hope our Canadians had a good Canada Day a few days back, heh.
There is a United Unreal Tournament (UUT) starting up.  Here is their site.  [IP]Ace did the site, pretty nice.  Anyways, if you got a clan and wanna sign up for this, go check it out.  Seems like it would be interesting.  I've posted a forum topic asking if any of the [CW] members that play Unreal would like to be apart of this.  I'll need at least 3 players.
